Our ‘Build On Your Lot’ Process
Initial Visit
If you are ready to build your custom home, the first step in the process is to sit down and learn more about each other. This gives us the opportunity to learn about your lifestyle and what kind of home you want to build for your family.
Site Visit
The next step is to visit the home site together. We want to maximize views and discuss your vision for outdoor living spaces. Would you like a deck or patio? A pool? Outdoor kitchen? These are the things we want to learn from you to blend the outdoor living seamlessly with the indoor space.
Design
Once we determine it makes sense for us to work together, the next step is the design stage. It’s a really simple process where we state our intention to work together, and outline the basic scope and price range of your home.
We will take your ideas and inspiration to create your vision. There are plenty of meetings, phone calls and emails to help you get what you are looking for just right.
Already Have Architectural and Engineering Plans?
If you already have your architectural and engineering drawings, we can move right into the tender stage.
Pre-Final Stage
Now that we have determined the overall layout that fits your family’s lifestyle, it’s now time to add your personality with special details that make it truly yours. Details like:
- Lighting features
- Kitchen layout
- Custom closet design
- Home automation and security features
- Fireplaces
Final Tender:
Once the design drawings are complete, with a detailed set of specifications and budget allowances, we will present you with fixed price tender. Upon acceptance of tender, we will execute the building contract. We use HIA and MBA approved building contracts. After this, we are now ready to permit the project and start construction. This is where we bring your home design to life.
